Design Guide

The following is a guide for personalisation or branding of products. Please note that the items themselves are ordered through the main Catalogue shop where you can specify the locations, upload logos etc. The personalisation volumes need to then be ordered via the Specials shop.


Small Print is one Colour printed on the front or rear (up to 2 lines of text).

Large Print is for full colour logos.

Special Print is for anything that is particularly large – it is best to obtain a quote against your design for this.


Small Embroidery is text and simple logos up to 5000 stitches of any colour.

Large Embroidery is for more complex or full logos up to 10,000 stitches.

Special Embroidery is for something larger – typically 15,000-20,000 stitches.

Below are some examples with their stitch count to give you an idea of how many stitches would be required for your specified branding.

Logos that are about 3500 / 5000 stitches tend to be lettering or simple logo at about 8cm across like:

Logos at about 6000 stitches can be more detailed and will be about 8 – 10 cm across or round like:


Logos that are about 9000 stitches are more of a filled in logo or a very detailed logo. Sizes can range from 7 – 10 cm. Examples are:

Excess of 15000 stitches will be more like a filled in badge or a larger logo for the back of garments – for these it is best to ask for a quote based on your logo. Examples of these are:
